Red Oak Winery was founded in 2002 on the unique idea of establishing a New England winery that uses 100% Californian grapes. The winery purchases its grapes from several Californian vineyards in Lodi, 60 miles east of Napa Valley, just west of the Sierra Foothills in the Central Valley appellation. Red Oak Winery produces several white and red dry wines. Every vintage is aged in new French oak barrels that are slowly toasted over natural wood fires at specified toasting levels. Our white wines are fermented and aged in new French oak barrels, a style developed in the Bordeaux region of France.

Red Oak’s wine making process combines Bordeaux and California wine making styles. We do not filter any of our red wines. A small percentage of our white wines are also unfiltered. We feel that our unfiltered wines preserve the true flavors and aromas that a fine wine should have.

We have outdoor tables to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine along with an Italian gelato dessert during the summer months.  We also offer daily tastings and tours.
